ACTIVITIES

A morning activity and afternoon activity is offered for residents to engage in interaction with other residents, school children, or community groups. Prairie Winds has a volunteer program that provides volunteers an opportunity to share time with residents in a variety of settings and activities. The facility has it’s own beauty saloon where a licensed beauty operator comes in and does residents hair once a week. A chapel is available for residents to assist them in their spiritual walk along with clergy who visit weekly. A multi-purpose room is available for activities, parties, family gatherings, and community meetings.
