MISSION STATEMENT - "Together We Make a Family"
Small Town/Big Hearts
Locally owned Prairie Winds is nestled in a small town with
a feeling of family and country living. We love that we can
walk outside and watch harvest taking place or local teams
practicing sports. In addition, we love our community volunteers
who embrace our family with their time and talents.
We train
our team of caregivers to fit the needs of each Prairie
Winds family member while creating a feeling of belonging.
We want our family to feel safe and their needs met.
Sharing the Joys of Life
*Serving 3 delicious home cooked meals a day. We Encourage
families to join their loved ones for a meal in our private
family dining room.
*Celebrating birthdays, each resident chooses
their Birthday dinner. What a joy it is sharing their meal
together with them.
We want residents to feel extra special.
*Offering spiritual
growth opportunities from community clergy on a weekly
basis from bible studies and group worship
to one on one time. We want to provide a supportive environment.
*Creating
a variety of social activities for residents
to interact with other Prairie Winds Family, Community,
and
Doniphan-Trumbull School students. We want our residents
to have fun with everything they can do!
